Not Your Ordinary Dancers (NYOD)
Our dance studio is located in Middletown, NJ. We offer a wide variety of dance classes for young
children through adult. Our classes include jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, modern, creative movement, acro
and a comprehensive ballet program. We think you will find our studio a creative place to learn dance
technique, build self-esteem. participate in community events and have fun!
We offer our students many performance opportunities including two annual shows (Winter Showcase
and Spring Recital), community performances and competition opportunities. Each year as part of our
Spring Recital we stage a ballet production. We have presented "Giselle", "Sleeping Beauty", "Swan
Lake", "Cinderella", "Don Quixote", "La Bayadere", "Nutcracker", "Coppelia" and "Dr. Ouch"
We have several dance teams at NYOD for both our recreational and competition students:

Our current and previous students have gone on to use many of the skills they learned at NYOD. Some of

The University of Arts (Philadelphia), Towson Dance Team, Montclair Dance Team - Various dance scholarships from Atlantic City Ballet, Broadway Dancer Center, JUMP, Starpower,
PULSE, etc. - Cast Member with Disney's Beauty & Beast @ MGM
